INTRO:

Namastey London is a 2007 Bollywood film. The romantic comedy film is directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.Awesome movie..

PLOT:

Jasmeet “Jazz” (Katrina Kaif) is a British – born Indian who has her mind on British culture and people, and not liking her own Indian culture, makes her parents really unhappy. She wants to marry a British guy but her parents, especially her dad Manmohan Malhotra (Rishi Kapoor) wants her to marry an Indian guy. They try to make her interested in India, and Indians and take her to visit India, and their home state Punjab, India. And they arrange her marriage with there friends son Arjun (Akshay Kumar), and they get married in India. But after returning from India, Jasmeet tells that she doesn’t consider this as a marriage, and she is still single in Britain, and tells everyone that this was just a drama. However her parents and Arjun are helpless and they try to convince her, but she doesn’t care. So Arjun then tries to win Jasmeet. And with the movie Upen Patel, plays Jasmeets friend who is Pakistani but he is born in Britain and is excatly like Jasmeet. He too, is engaged to a White British girl, whom he later plans to take to Karachi.

Near the end of the movie, Arjun is Jazz’s best man at her wedding to a British man, and right before she is about to say “I do”, she leaves, and runs after Arjun, who she hugs, and ends the movie.
